Maria Amalia " Melina " Mercouri ( 1920-1994 ) was a talented Greek actress starting her career in the National Theatre Of Greece then graduating to a film career achieving international stardom ,she was also a successful singer ,all in all a talented entertainer but her political career eclipsed these achievements.
