We take advantage of the skills that many women and young people bring with them and give them the tools to value their work β and their identity π©βπ§π§βπ. We are thus generating sustainable employability solutions and contributing to true inclusion π€, in a model that we intend to replicate in several parts of the country π΅πΉ. And because integration is a two-way process, we thought it was important to also organize workshops and debates π£οΈπ₯, which help bring people closer together, reduce ignorance and dispel prejudices ππ‘. The first Mezze opened in Lisbon, at the Arroios Market, in September 2017 π½οΈπ. It has been highlighted as an example of success in the integration of refugees ππ€, notably by Prime Minister AntΓ³nio Costa π¨βπΌ, President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa π΅πΉ, and the European Commissioner responsible for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship, Dimitris Avramopoulos πͺπΊ.
