The Peiresc planetarium offers introductory astronomy sessions to the public, schools, leisure centers and various groups in the Jas de Bouffan district of Aix-en-Provence.
The planetarium has an 8 m diameter dome onto which the celestial vault, astronomical images and educational films are projected.
The room, accessible to people with reduced mobility, can accommodate up to 47 people.
