In 50 years of existence (we opened our doors on October 30, 1974), we have revived the great tradition of Minho cuisine. Founded on this date by Evaristo Cardoso and Graça Cardoso. Eating well and good belongs to the category of affections. And affections imply that we be courteous, kind, and warm. That's why whoever enters this House, enters their own Home. For more than a quarter of a century, we have strived to present (with a quality recognized by the best national and international specialists) a series of dishes that are authentic specialties of one of the oldest Portuguese cuisines. Writers, journalists, politicians, actors, footballers, businessmen, architects, engineers - famous people, but above all, good people, have honored Solar dos Presuntos with their presence and encouragement. The numerous photographs and caricatures displayed on the walls reflect, albeit partially, the quality of our customers. That's why our customers know that when they enter this House, they enter their own Home. The history of Solar dos Presuntos is filled with other stories, which are now part of the recent history of our country.
